Recent Decisions & Impact of Declining Enrollment
- Due to the district declining in enrollment, the state funding formula has significantly decreased the amount of revenue we can receive (revenue limit).
- This steep loss in funding has outpaced any reduced costs that come from serving fewer students.
- The District is facing these financial challenges despite closing two schools, reducing 19.5 positions and implementing a high deductible health insurance plan for all staff.
